About to miss biometrics deadline

Hi Everyone,

My spouse just checked his junk mail and found the biometrics instruction, which was emailed to him on November 22nd. He has booked his appointment for January 02 as that is the earliest appointment time available, but the letter says he has until December 23 to get his photo and finger scan into the system or his application may be refused.

In this case, what would you suggest we do?

PS, we have requested IRCC to change his email address to mine.

Submit a webform explaining what happened and request a biometrics extension. Provide the appointment booking as an additional document proving that is the earliest date.
