About to apply for study permit

Hi guys

I’m about to apply for a study permit I finished my high school in 2016 and took a gap year. I applied to Herzing College Ottawa and got accepted for personal support work course. In high school I never did anything to do with that course will it affect my chances of getting a study permit? And how do I write a statement of purpose?

Pick a different college (specifically a public college). Herzing is a private college and you'll most likely not qualify for a post graduate work permit once you're done.

Thank you. So its difficult to get a post graduate work permit if you attend a private college? Why is it like that?
