Hey! About to send off my application and thought I'd run a couple of things by people here first...

1) Firstly...Not so much a question, but my work experience is a mess. Foreign work experience is 2 years at one company then 1 year plus at another company - both within the last 10 years both with employer references. Canadian work experience, 8 and a half months at one company, 2 and half months at another company, now my job where I work now which is two months and counting. I have pay slips, employer references and t4s for all three jobs but it just looks very sloppy having three jobs make up one year. Technically I can prove all of them but hoping there is no issue, anyone had similar?

2) Secondly, the company I worked for for eight months has a completely different name on the T4 than what I put on my profile and what my employer verification letter says, I think on the T4 is the parent company name but I didn't even know it by that name until I got the T4.

Any help on these would be much appreciated!!

1) No problem as long as all 3 are skilled work based on NOC.
2) Not sure but shouldn't be a problem. I'd suggest adding paystubs too.

Awesome. Appreciate it, just dawned on me also. Are people putting in all there previous work history? Even if it’s not skilled? I did a couple of months non skilled work on my work visa and also a few months part time whilst on a study visa, should I be adding that?

If you are talking about the Personal History form, you must include Everything.

You are not the first : ) As long as they are all eligible and you have correct documentation, there should be no problem.

2) Secondly, the company I worked for for eight months has a completely different name on the T4 than what I put on my profile and what my employer verification letter says, I think on the T4 is the parent company name but I didn't even know it by that name until I got the T4.

Just include a written explanation - and/or make a note on the T4 about your employer´s name, so that it´s easier for them to match up. Again, not that unusual.
