I saw a thread in this subforum a couple of weeks ago with some users discussing how Trudeau's decision to bring in 25,000 refugees would affect the timelines for inland sponsorship applications. Is there really any truth to this?
I just saw this article at CBC which mentions a dedicated refugee processing center that just opened up in Jordan. Wouldn't this mean that sponsorship applications being processed at the various other visa offices worldwide (including those within Canada) are unaffected by all of this and would be able to continue working on our applications without the refugee crisis affecting our own timelines in any way?
