About spouse open work permit

Hi there, i am currently working in a construction company that pays me 15$ per hour. I got married and my spouse is in india and wants to apply for sowp but when i went for an immigration lawyr he told me that my pay is less it does not comes under median wage. He told me that it is necessary to have median wage job if you wants to apply for sowp out of country becuase my husband is in india. Plz let me know it is mandatory to have median wage job to apply for sowp or is that possible that refusal chances are more if i applied for sowp on this 15$ pay rate job.

I am on open work permit and my title is dry wall installer and its median wage is 33$ but i am currently working on 15$ .

When you submit your NOC, you need to include pay stubs and employment letter. Given such a low wage, it may be refused.

Can anyone tell me to apply for spouse open work permit visa from india on pgwp can we apply with part time noc B job and visa stamping is mondatory to apply for sowp visa from india if we have valid pgwp?

So its not manadatory to show median wage job . I can still apply on my current wage job.. right?
