About sending the passport and two photos to Ottawa

Hello everyone,
I just got the letter from CIC and they told me that I need to send passport, two photos and Annex A form to Ottawa in order to get my PR issued.
Does anyone know that for the two photos required, are there any certified studios to take those photos? Or any studios are fine? And also for the requirement, is the 70mm*55mm a standard one? I've never heard of this scale before.

Any studio will do. The size is important, make sure you get that right. Any photo studio worth the name can easily print the picture.

PS: When you say you've never heard of "this scale" do you mean mm?
