Hello, can I ask does any senior happen to know what is the approximate processing time for EE FSW stream right now? I check the CIC website and it only has a processing time for EE application as a whole, and it is "6 months".

If applying as inland FSW (been in the country for a little bit less than 2 years), is it necessary to get the RCMP clearance before submitting the EE application? What is the chance that the application will be rejected if RCMP is not provided upfront? And what is the chance the officer will require the RCMP?

Does any senior happen to know about this. Thanks

The six month is an estimate. It can take 8-12 months. No RCMP certificate is required.

Hello, Sir. Thank you for the information. Yes. I originally also think the RCMP is not required for "inland applicant" either. Because recently I have heard a lot of people saying that the CIC officers request the RCMP a lot more often these days. In case of future hassle and confusion by the CIC officer, I heard it is better to apply for the RCMP and submit it upfront.

And for the processing timeline, I also heard that there are some EE CEC applicants' processing time being only "three months". I am not really sure if EE FSW have a similar timeline or does it have a much longer processing time though.
