hi i knew there is a new law coming from June 2015

4 yr need to present in Canada out of 6 yr

my question i lived 2 years in Canada as working visa

so is this time will be counted for the citizenship time

Unfortunately as per new law it won't be counted

Any time before landing as PR will not be counted toward citizenship qualification under the new 4/6 rule.

So in that case PR card validity would be 6 yr instead of 5

The validity of a PR card is irrelevant. But the residency rule to maintain the PR status did not change. It still is 2 out of 5.
