Hey omegai,

General IELTS exam is taken only if u wish to apply for PR or work permit.
If u want to apply for student visa u have to give academic IELTS exam.

I asked the college about that "memorial" they said they accept either ietls exam
but i dont know about embassy if they accepted it or not : :
