About Immigration Lawyer

I’m currently considering on hiring an immigration lawyer, does anyone have any recommendation on any immigration firms? Preferably within Toronto (or GTA) area.

Also, have anyone worked with myvisasource? And if so, how are they?

I’ve contacted them today, and their representative asked me to email a copy of both me and my partner’s passport main page, but we haven’t signed anything nor made any payment yet. Is this normal?

No - it's not normal for them to ask for a copy of your passport up front. Based on this alone, I would recommend you stay far away from them. They have no need for your passport information at this point and they shouldn't be asking for it. That's super shady.

Go with a specialized immigration lawyer instead of a lawyer who does lots of things including immigration.
