- Following the correct writing structure
- Having a proper introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion
- Answering the question asked with your opinions + examples
- Avoiding grammatical errors

Without those - it doesn't matter what vocabularies you use - you'll still get a below-average score.

Yes i agree i certainly have those in my writing and iam aware that those are the basics but i just asked beyond that if you have additional vocabulary whether it would be an added advantage to your score or not?

Might be - but won't be a lot for sure. The key is still to explain your reasoning well - that's way more important than what you are asking.
