Hi,
Can you improve points with retaking IELTS or French test?
You may receive invite from Ontario for their provincial program, look at their website for all requirements..

You can improve your scores by improving IELTS score to at least CLB 9 (LRWS 8777). IELTS plays a major role in your CRS. Try inputting different IELTS scores in the tool that you used and see how much of a difference it makes to CRS score.

You can also look at Provincial Nominee Programs to migrate to Canada, check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

Canadian Charter or the Constitution Act, 1982, provides permanent residents and Canadian citizens with the right to live and work in any province in Canada. Having said that, when a province takes the pain to nominate you (based on the requirement in that province), it is more of a moral obligation than a legal one to stay and work in the province for at least 2 years. On the other hand, if you can prove (which would be a tough one) that after repeated attempts you failed to land a job in that province, then you can move to a province of your choice. If it is established that from the beginning, that you had no intention at all to stay in the province, then you may end up in the hassles of losing your PR.

You can refer to this link for more details immigration.ca/en/immigration-wiki2/43-canada-immigration/168-mobility-rights-of-canadian-permanent-residents-under-provincial-immigration-programs.

thank you very much! please what is the band you had for your IELTS? is 7 ok?
My scores are as follows
- Listening: 8.5
- Reading: 7.5
- Writing: 7.0
- Speaking: 8.0
- Overall Band Score: 8.0

IELTS plays a very important role in boosting your CRS score. Ideally getting CLB 9 in IELTS (LRWS 8777) will give you the best points, You can try different values in the calculators here and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.
