Original Question 1:
I am applying for visa after being accepted in a two year post secondary diploma course (in media) that best suits my career needs. I have been educated upto Masters level at university in not exactly the same subject but a related field (communication). My undergrad was in Psychology. My question is, what level of education should I declare on visa application? Highest? Im afraid it might cause hinderance that I am applying for a college level diploma instead of higher. If I apply with undergrad, A) I'd not be telling the whole truth B) Its not related to media, but going with this option at least its at a level close to a diploma. Agents everywhere say not to mention masters. I dont wanna lie but I want to get to this program and do it as its really important for me professionally.
EDIT:
Question 2:
In 2006 I applied for FSW program and after years and years of waiting received a letter form CIC in 2012 that my application is not being considered due to a backlog of applications and that they passed a law to allow them to cancel pending applications. Is this something I must mention in my application that I applied that long ago and was unsuccessful due to no reason of my own? Circumstances have changed and now im applying to study.
