Hi everyone,
I got the ITA of Express Entry, and I have a question about the Certificate of Qualification. When I was applying the EE, I listed RA (3 years) and Software Engineer (1 year) as working experiences, and I presumed the Certificate of Qualification means the diploma I got from the University, so I just wrote 'yes' in the Certificate of Qualification Section.
But now it asks for the supporting document, after I check around in the forum, it seems to be something else, such as a certificate for the skilled occupation (plumber, carpenter...). And there's another required document called Education (diplomas/degrees) on the page, I got confused.
Is it still legit to give my graduate diploma as the supporting material for Certificate of Qualification?
Thank you so much for your attention!

I would suggest uploading loe mentioning your confusion. If the certificate of qualification is not required for your profession, it should be fine. Note that submitting application the way you did may cause applications to be delayed but short of reapplying your best bet is to explain it in loe

Unfortunately, certificate of qualification also accounted for his points. As he doesn’t have such a certificate his points will drop and if it drops lower than the cut off of the draw which he received the ITA, he needs to decline it.

hi, thank you for all your replies. I choose no in the Certificate of Qualification section. My preview score doesn't change. Maybe because it only counts for FSW? I'm classified as CEC, though I intended to apply FSW, I listed my Canadian RA experience as working experience, according to some threads here, it would be counted as foreign working experience, but somehow i'm put into CEC. Maybe I should open a separated thread to discuss this. A confusing system ......
