About Bridging open work permit (BOWP)

Hi there,

My Current post grad work permit will be expired on June 12, 2015. I got my AOR and hopefully I will get medical call in 2 weeks if everything goes smoothly.

My question is, do I have to apply for BOWP four months earlier than June 12 which is February 12 ?

Please need some advice. Thanks in advance !!!

Yes you can apply ur bowp after FEB 12

I applied BOWP in August 2014 (successfully received for an year) when my work permit was about to expire on May 2015.

I don't know the reason but My case is an example where BOWP need not wait for 4 months before my current work permit expires.

That's really interesting friend. My WP expires in July, however I too want to apply now.not sure if I should do so. Did you send a cover letter

You have to apply after February 12, but before June 12.

My current work permit will be expired on June 12, 2015.
So, when is the best time to apply for BOWP ?
Like if I apply in middle of April , do you think that's a ideal time ?
Or, when should I apply ?
Please need some advice !! I know it's easy answer but kinda confusing to me.

My advice is that you apply for your BOWP 5-4 months before your current work permit is about to expire. The sooner, the better.
