ABOUT AOR AND SA

How long does it usually take before you receive an AOR or SA? We are on our 55th day and still nothing from cic. My husband and I are getting worried since applicants from our timeline are getting there confirmation, thus we feel left out.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?

No everyone gets AOR, and SA should be within 63 days. Once 63 days has passed and you haven't received SA, call CIC.

My SA approval took 76 days, we started calling after the processing date shown online had passed but everytime we called all we were told was that our app was received and we need to wait. Right now it shows they are processing apps received on Aug 17 and average of 63 day processing.
AOR and SA email is sent to the sponsors email given on the application.

You have to wait until the date shown on the website for sponsor approval processing have passed your own application date. After that you can call CIC call centre and inquire about your application status.
Right now, the last update is working on applications received on August, 17 : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp
You should expect this Thursday/Friday the website updated as working on applications received on August, 24 or so.

No, my husband (sponsor) received AOR by email about 30 days after they received our application. We didn't start calling about SA until it was over the processing time listed online.

Have you checked the sponsors email? Make sure and check spam and junk folders too. Have you tried check online with your receipt number?

I do have access to my husbands email and sadly still no mail from them. Checked junk, spam, trash. Yes tried the receipt and still cannot access ecas with it, which i presume they still havent process our app.
By the way things are right now, looks like we would be phoning them cause it feels hopeless now to get an AOR.

I'm assuming you didn't use a representative either, correct? If you did, then that person would get the communication from CIC.

We did not use or have any representative on our app. :'(

We are in same boat. My application was received on August 20,2015.(No AOR yet ) I have representative on the application. When the date on the CIC website got updated to August 26,2015 my representative called CIC but they said since the application is not in system they cannot give her any information and asked me to call them.

When i called them today they asked me tracking number application through which they found that my application was received.They have sent query to Mississauga office and asked me to wait.The worst part is CIC agent told me that they cannot guarantee when Mississauga office will contact me or my representative (May be week or 2 weeks)

I hope to receive SA soon. Please let me know if you get anything from CIC.

Thats just terrible its not easy to put an App together, but lossing it is worse. I cannot call them yet. Need to wait a few more days before my husband can.

I am the sponsor for my husband as well as his representative - I'm not sure if your the sponsored person or sponsor - but the sponsor can be the representative .

I too have access to my husband's email and will also receive all correspondence regarding the file too because I am his represenative.

I don't think its too late, you can still submit your representactive completed form if yiubwhatbtomuse yiur sponsor (if that's you)

We put N/A on the representative forms upon submission.
