About 1344form Does that mean we lost two months？？PLEASE JOIN HERE！！

Hi everyone，
I originally send our application on July 31st, and It was received on August 1st.
I was asked to submit the new form on Sep 4
According to Canada Post tracking it was received on Sep 17th.

Does that mean we lost two months waiting time and now it's a restart? No matter our file was returned or need updated?

If you don't have a file number yet probably it was delayed...
Does they confirmed the sponsorship yet ? Approval of the sponsor is the first stage.....

I believe that they need all file to be completed in order to proceed with the background check...
without a background check it wont sponsor approval.... and that is what they need to do in order to begin
the whole process...
Yes, I believe that your file was delayed by 2 months.....

They will look at your fie its called a bring forward date.e.g.if they gave you 45 days to send back the info then they will look at your file at this time. If they gave you 60 days they will look at the file after 60 days etc.

I think what the person means is after either 45 or 60 days. The truth is nobody really knows. Everybody is speculating because CIC doesn't release their criteria for how and when they review applications. Some people were asked for the updated forms some not. Some were asked via e-mail and some had their applications sent back to them(ME). Some get SA after 30-40 days some after 3-4 months. So it's just guessing really. Sorry. Try to be patient and forget about it until you hear something more from CIC or you will go crazy thinking about it.
