Hello, can I have a question regarding on the EE inland application. The EE application was submitted earlier in July and it has been about one month since AOR. I just found that there is a typo in the "Letter of Explanation" on my parents' name today (parents information are required to filled in in the EE questionnaire, and it is also required in the "proof of canadian sibling" section).

I think the parents' names are correct in the EE questionnaire and in the scanning supporting documents. But in the "Letter of explanation", there is a typo in mother's name (the letter "e" is mistakenly written as "a").

I am very concerned about this. And I think I have made a very big blunder. I am thinking about to raise a CSE (case specific enquiry) about this mistake right away. Can I ask beside the CSE, is there anything else that I can do? Maybe I should also email/call IRCC about this? Does any senior happen to know about this. Thank you

No need for a CSE. They might not even notice it since its only in the LOE, your documents are correct so why stress. Dont worry

Hello, sir. Thank you very much for replying. Because the EE application was submitted on July 1, 2017. And it has been 35 days since AOR. And I think my current status is IP1 (medical passed on July 10 and then no status change after that). And I am very concerned about this (it seems usually the status will change to NA in about 10 - 15 days after IP1, but right now nothing happens). Therefore, I think one of the reasons may be because of the "Letter of Explanation" parents' name typo.

Can I ask one more question about the difference in processing time between CEC and FSW inland applicant? I think I qualify for both streams (with 2 years of local work experience, and 2 years of foreign work experience), but I am not sure which stream is the application currently being under review. So I wonder if there is any difference. Thank you.

No it wont be the reason for delay. I am not sure about both of those streams so its best someone else answers this question not to mislead you. However both are slowe than fsw-outland so your IP1 is normal.

Dont worry at all
The very first application I filed with IRCC, I messed up the passport expiry date on a form and guess what my visa was approved probably the VO didnt notice it or if he did he was kind enough to ignore.
Since you made typo in the LOE and not even an official form, I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Hello, sir. Thank you very much for replying. I really hope the LOE typo will not be noticed by the officer. But just in case it is noticed by the officer, I think different officers will process the application differently at their discretion. And I am not sure if this is the reason that there is no status change since IP1 on July 10.

Can I ask if the first IRCC application, do you also submit in the Express Entry system? If so, is it under CEC or FSW? Thank you.
