a tricky question about sponsoring parents and spouse

Hello people:

I have a question here, let's say I submitted an application for sponsoring parents one month ago, and CIC haven't make any decision on my application yet. Can I submit an application for sponsoring my spouse now? or do I have to wait five or six years later after CIC made a decision about my parents sponsorship, then apply for sponsoring my spouse?

I don't think you have to wait.......I think you should be able to submit separate applications to sponsor your parents and spouse......however, you need to be meet eligibility for the separate sponsorships.......and keep in mind that parents sponsorship now depends on lottery.......advice you review family sponsorship on IRCC site.

Not sure if you are aware but the lottery has been done. Have you been selected? Yes you can sponsor your wife. If you are already married your spouse would have already been counted in your family size number.
