Hello everyone!
I am in sort of special circumstances and cannot find answers to my questions anywhere.
I am a French citizen, living and studying full time in Glasgow, Scotland and plan to do so until the end of my studies in 2 years. I have been offered a summer internship for the July-August 2011 period in a major financial institution in Toronto.
France has a special program for Internship visas BUT because I do not live full time in France, I am not eligible.
It seems that the Temporary Work Visa is my only hope.
My questions are the following:
* Are they valid for students looking for an internship? (the application form asks for current employment, therefore should I just put down student with the address of my University°
* Does the company have to fill a Human Resources and Skills Development Canada form, even for a short term internship?
I am becoming desperate to find answers, and would appreciate any help.
Thanks in Advance!
