A teacher and want to immigrate to Canada

I am a teacher in Ghana. I have registered with the Ontario College of teachers but have not yet received my number due to non-payment of processing fess and membership dues. Pls how can acquiring the certificate and college membership help me to get work and immigrate to Canada

Having a license is of no benefit. You need to either immigrate through Express Entry/OINP based on your age, education, funds, language, experience or get a job offer with LMIA from a school board proving they cannot hire anyone in Canada. The later will be difficult because I doubt school boards will go through the process.

So start with Express Entry and see if eligible and then calculate CRS score. If high enough, you may get invited. Most people get the license once they have immigrated because have a teacher’s license doesn’t give you any immigration points and you must teach in the province of the license.
