... but does anyone know how I can get to speak to somebody at the Embassy in London? My application seems to have gone missing and i'm panicing!! A telephone number or an email address just so I can check whether they have it or not. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anyway of contacting them.


Please help if you can.

Look at London's web site, there is an email contact. You should know that you won't receive an AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) for 3/4 months with SAP? Did you send it by courier? Has your fees draft been cashed?

Hi there,

Thanks for replying.

I can't find an email address anywhere on their website. I've been trying to track my letter on Royal mail's website all week but its saying that it hasn't been delivered yet. I'ts obvious that its lost although royal mail are saying it isn't.

The cheque hasn't been cashed but i'm worried that if i cancel it and send in a new one, my missing application (and cheque) may turn up at a later date. If they lodge the cancelled cheque it will bounce which will look so bad. I just need to let someone in the embassy know what has happened and to ignore my first application if it ever turns up.

Oh its all such a mess!!!

Hi PMM (or anyone else that can help),

As soon as applications are received by the embassy, do you know if the bankers drafts are lodged immediately, or are they lodged when they are ready to create a file number for us?

We still do not know whether or not they have our application yet. Royal mail can't confirm they've delivered it and the embassy were not much help either. I don't think they read my email properly before replying back to me. I'll just have to sit tight and hope for the best. If the cheque isn't lodged in 2 more weeks i'll just go ahead and cancel it and start again :O(
