Hi, I will be sending two statutory declarations with my application (one from my mom, the other from my gf's mom). I will also be sending other letters from friends and family. My question: is an emailed, printed copy enough? Or do they need the original? thx

I've read instances of people sending unnotarized letters with their applications with success, but I don't know about copies of original letters.

Are applying as conjugal partners? If so, you may want to err on the side of caution with as many original notarized declarations as possible (because it's the harder relationship to prove).

Sorry i was unclear. The two statutory declarations will be notarized originals. The OTHER letters will not be notarized. I was asking about those, email or originals?

If it is a letter which has been signed, scanned and then emailed to you then that will be fine. As you already have the two stat decs notarized the rest will be supporting evidence so not as important (although they can be a great way to support your relationship if you are a little light on other evidence).
