Hi,

The OP6 FSW stated that:
Visa officers may also check previous applications to corroborate any information provided in the
FSW application. Applications more than 12 months old, however, will not include the most recent
information about work experience.

Could someone clarify the second sentence that indicated:
Applications more than 12 months old, however, will not include the most recent
information about work experience.

Thank you!

Pretty simple if you applied in April/2009 and then in April 2010 your 2009 application wouldn't have any employment information from April/09 to April/10 would it?

Thank you PMM for your comment.

May I ask why the OP 6 manual placed emphasis on 12 months limitation?

Once again thank you for your help!

It could be because they expected to have everything done within 12months. It could be that the extra 12 months could give someone a boost up in the points (i guess even less than 12 months can if the person worked say for 1 year and 9 months).

Okay.. i guess this statement contradicts with a statement mentioned later in the same document…

8. Visa office procedures - Federal Skilled Worker applications made on or
after February 27, 2008

8.6. Distinction between final determination of eligibility for processing and processing
Final determination of eligibility for processing

Visa officers may also check previous applications to corroborate any information provided in theFSW application. Applications more than 12 months old, however, will not include the most recent information about work experience.

Processing

11. Procedure – Assessing the application against FSW selection criteria
11.12. Experience
Officers must:
  • Take into account any years of experience that occur between application and assessment, and for which the applicant has submitted the necessary documentation (R77).

can somebody explain to me .. if i submit to the CIO the forms.. then i get the AOR... can i submit to the CHC the "updated" version of the forms that includes more years of experience ( i want to do that because i got less marks in IELTS)

in Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations

Conformity — applicable times
77. For the purposes of Part 5, the requirements and criteria set out in sections 75 and 76 must be met at the time an application for a permanent resident visa is made as well as at the time the visa is issued.

that i believe the R77 mentioned in OP 06
