hi all.

I got my WES evaluation report back on Thursday and I was absolutely gutted.
I am in the UK and have the following UK quals:
University certificate (1 full-time year)
Level 5 Diploma CMI
Level 6 Award CMI
Post Grad Certificate (1 year part-time)
Currently finishing MSc (top-up, 1 year part-time).

WES gave me 1 year and 1 semester Undergrad and 2 post grad semesters. As I don’t have the 3 year degree or a full master, this means I will only get the points for a 1 year degree and the rest is worthless.

Anyone got any experience with this?

i don't understand you got accepted in an msc without a bachelor? i looked up CMI it's a professional degree so i doubt wes considered it.

Yeah, in the UK they recognise prior learning and offset your learning and experience against modules. This means I was able to go straight to the 3rd year of an MSc. Also I did my PG Cert without a degree on the same basis.

when you say prior learning what do you mean? that's everywhere where it's recognized but you mean two years of formal education allowed you to go in the third master's year? aren't masters 1-2 years in the uk? or you meant third year as in because you're part time? i'm a bit confused. the thing is you can't claim masters nor two or more degrees as you don't have a three year diploma. also if i may ask what university are you doing your master's in? did wes say it was recognized? if so, how long until you finish your master's and can get it evaluated? if it's not a long wait anymore just finish your degree, get it evaluated as masters and claim points for that.
