Hi there,
My friend's husband didn't land in Canada together with his family years ago. Now, he wants to visit his family here. So, I suppose him as a foreign national, and he has to apply a TRV in his country. Is it right?
I know someone will only become a Permanent Resident of Canada when he/she crosses a Canadian port of entry with his/her valid passport and his/her valid Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa. This is referred to as 'landing in Canada'.
Just looking for a confirmation.
Thanks.
