I thought I should add another reason for rejection: NONE that makes sense.

they say misery loves company, so hopefully others getting affected by no mistake of their own can at least know they are not the only ones. I just got my second ITA application cancelled. First, apparently based on the grounds that I did not submit my passport (which I did, but I could not find the screenshot I took as I was filling out the application). I contacted my local MP Constituency assistant, and it has made a HUGE difference, they were able to get some answers from CIC within 5 days that it would have taken months through a CSE email. Totally recommend getting their support and help!!

The CIC contact person looked at my application and there it was my passport PDF as I have said, so they submitted a note for review to my case agent, which so "kindly" replied saying that after thoroughly reviewing my application, it turns out the passport document that is missing is ACTUALLY my husbands! (which I submitted) Thankfully, this time I do have screenshot proof that it was submitted. Now, to no fault of my own, since they already reconsidered once, even if it's a mistake (and I HAVE PROOF it is), I have to resort to a petition directly to the Ministry which can take who knows how many days, and of course, my BOWP fell through and now am out of status, cant work, and need to either go through the restoration way (6-8 months currently) while they fix all this mess they caused, or consider leaving Canada to process a close work permit (7-12 weeks) since I'm a PNP nominee and are eligible for a LMIA exempt permit (at least I still have the full support of my employer).

So, there you have it. sometimes you can do everything right and still be in the midst of a negative outcome. So, don't despair, for most of you there wont be any issue and will get PPR in 6 months, for some everything that can go wrong (or rather shouldn't) will, but you are not the only one. And, when being a victim of a faulty attachment-based submission system remember to take screenshots and if you have proof to fight the system, reach out to your local MP.
