A LONG WAIT

i am a new member on this forum.I am already registered with trackitt.hope i will get some moral support at this forum as well.
My husband and i applied under fsw,in march,2007,and asked for the supporting documents in may 2009.we send all our docus in aug 09,including ielts result.we are from pakistan but we are residents of UAE.we have applied from here sharjah.
our details are as follows:
age group b/w35-45
work experience:more than 15 years
education:masters
adaptibility:my uncle is a canadian citizen,for more than 50years.
ielts total score:6
at cic,our status is showing "in process"from the day 1.
how long it takes to get an aor,atleast we would know our documents have reached safely?
we applied to the london office,as all the applications were sent there in 2007,and sent our supporting documents to nova scotia.
is there anyone with the same situation?kindly reply.

Hi,

as the ECAS showing "in process" means your application is in process. I saw several posts saying AOR not received. The AOR letter is sent by ordinary post. There is possibility that it might have lost on transit. However, as you have access to your status on line, that is a great advantage.

Hope that u will get Medical request within this month. In current situation I have seen that VISA office takes maximum 3 months after sending Documents. I sent my full application in 28 May, 2009 and i got medical request on 13 Sept 2009 and this letter was issued on 27 August 2009.

Plz do excuse me if I m misunderstanding ur timings ,in the beginning of ur post u ve written tht u applied in March 2007 ,then how come ur still expecting for your "AOR" even after submitting ur docs.Plz make it clear ve u applied under old rules or new rules.......

Another thing if u are a London office applicant of 2007, how can u submit your docs to NS????
Plz explain as I am unable to understand the whole situation.
