A little discrepancy... how will they process?

Hello!

My mother-in-law submitted an application for a TRV to the Canadian Embassy in her home country however there is a discrepancy between the category selected and the supporting documents we provided.

On the IMM 5257, under the ‘Details of Visit to Canada' my mother-in-law entered “Tourism” in the drop-down for the purpose of her visit to Canada, however we supplied her with Supporting documents for a SuperVisa (i.e LICO requirements, insurance coverage for a year, etc.) as this what we had planned. Will her application be treated and processed as a Supervisa application or a regular single entry Visa?

Anyone else experience this before?

No, the forms required to complete are the same, but for category, in the drop down both "tourism" and "supervisa" are there and the applicable one needs to be selected. The supporting documents are different for the supervisa so I'm not sure how they'll process?!
