Hi,

Firstly wanted to thank everybody contributing here as it's helped me get my heard around this thing a lot over the past few days.

I am a UK citizen wanting to apply for the IEC. I'm hoping to apply when the next batch opens as I missed the first one on 14th February (3 hours?!!)

Now the required documents for completing stage 1 are a photocopy of your passport, proof of payment and an up to date CV. Assumedly then, I need to pay the IEC program before the Kompass account reopens. But elsewhere on the site it seems you only need to pay once you have successfully completed the Kompass account.

Can somebody please help? And if I do need to pay before it opens, how exactly do you go about doing that.

Muchly appreciated,

Toby

1. No, you don't pay the fee on the initial application. If your initial application is approved, then you will get a code number which you take to the bank for your payment and upload it with the application for the LOI in the 2nd portion. Read the information in the following forum: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=787413
