A little bit confused about RCMP Criminal Record Check and Biometrics

Hi,

I received the request for my "RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check based on fingerprints" a week before they ask for my Biometrics.

1. Are the fingerprints that the RCMP is based on, the same as the one I take when I do the Biometrics? Meaning that I would have to do the Biometrics first and then take the results with me when I do the RCMP.
or
2. It doesn't matter which one I do first because these are different fingerprints and they gonna take their own fingerprint when I do the RCMP?

Option 2 is the right answer. They r independent of each other.
