hey quick question. Has anyone been called for an interview twice?

My husband had his interview sep 2011 and we had a bring forward date of dec 2011 then no news since basically. My husband's file was transferred from Berlin to Vienna in May and on my CAIP notes it says we have a bring forward date of Aug 14,2012. I honestly dont know what to expect. his medicals are expired and they told us to wait for orders to redo medicals.
What do u guys think?

hey nimz,

it might be that the transfer between Berlin to Vienna has slowed down a bit things, but you should hear from them soon... they are probably trying to integrate the Berlin files into the Vienna ones to not disrupt too much the process, not slow down Vienna original files etc.... but still be fair to Berlin's applicants... it might take a while.
Since you have a date for 14th of August, wait until then and see what happens that week, of the one after. If they haven't asked you for new medicals, they might not have all the elements yet - but if that's the only thing missing, and the medicals were OK, the commission might decide to exempt you from doing the medicals again, as per new CIC bulletin... here is the thread to see what I am referring to http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t106229.0.html

If that's the case for you, you might not need to do new medicals, and save a bit of time and money.

For now, I think you can only wait - it's hard for sure. Good luck,

yes - unfortunately not much else to do. you're probably almost there, so don't loose hope and don't give up - each day that passes brings you one day closer to the day you will have the PR issued!

I know this is a silly question i just dont really know what does "Bring forward date" means? Thanks to who ever will help me

A bring forward date is an internal "deadline" for the officer to follow up on a file.
