A friend of mine with international visa?

She is from Somalia, and she started the first semester with me. In my previous questions, I asked if I was able to still be a work-study while becoming part-time if I had a disability. I can be a part-time student even if I'm international but I can't work. To Summarize this situation, the disability played a big role in getting myself into this situation, however, to summarize to do my academic standing and being forced to work (just part-time don't need more) I am forced to stay as full-time. She came to my college for a degree in Toronto for semester one, then she left (stayed in Canada working) and for semester 4 she came back (was in some classes with me) to do semester 3 (she did semester 2 in summer) however, she was still a semester off. She has been now off for almost a year and just working full-time. I've talked with her and she told me that she hasn't had any implications and that a lawyer (helping her I assume) told her she just needs to enroll full-time again before the student visa expires (So it shows in the system she is enrolled as fulltime) to be honest, this sounds weird but someone has any ideas how she has managed to do this? I don't want to do this so I will still try to push through with this semester (I get above 90 in quizzes, assignments, and presentations) I just struggle a lot with exams even if I study 200 hours total for one I would not fail but then would get maybe a 50-60 overall and is not enough for my GPA. I would need to find a way (or take the risk) of passing this semester or take the last chance of next semester as full-time. I have set up my mind to pass without getting attached to the outcome, however, I've been non-stop trying since my first probation (which was a 0.2 out of 100, yes my 1st probation was due to a 0.2) and this semester 0.8 (so i currently have 64.2 min 65). I can't become part-time due to the reasons that I need to work at least 14 per week and I wouldn't want to fall behind either but, if I do get kicked for a year or decide to just take next semester full-time but 3 electives and 1 general course I haven't taken yet. Ill have to wait a semester off (which makes this question) since the other courses are 3rd year and are pre requesites. so Ill have to wait for dec 2018. What are my options and how my friend is doing this without getting deported?

If your friend is going to have problems, she won't have problems until she tries to either extend her study permit or apply for a PGWP.

I think your friend is going to have problems...
