hi just a few questions regarding my application process.
i am sponsoring my wife an american citizen, i am a canadian citizen, born and raised in canada.
on "application to undertaking" questions regarding are you a canadian citizen, are you a permanent resident should i answer "yes" to both? and when it asks became citizen/pm should i put my birthdate?
also next question "if you are a canadian citizen by descent? since i was born in canada, is the answer yes?

thanks for your help! some of these questions are worded so weird! lol

1) Just answer yes to citizen (not PR)
2) Yes - birthdate
3) Answer no. You have citizenship because you were born here not because you obtained it from one of your parents (from descent).

:)

thank you for a quick reply.
so should i say no to pm? or n/a? bc ive read not to leave things blank on the application

thank you.
another question regarding inland and outland.
how and when is it determined whether the application will be processed inland or outland? (i would like to process the application outland)
thanks!

If you want to apply outland, you should go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp#step1 and pick the option: "If your spouse, partner or dependent child lives abroad, use the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class." and that will take you to the application package here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
