A few questions about online citizenship application

Hey everyone, I have a few questions about filling out my citizenship application.

1. Status Expiry Date
  • I had a visitor record valid from June 2019 to October 31, 2019. However, I left Canada in September 2019. Which date should I write in the "Date your status expired" field — the one on the visitor record or the exact date I left Canada?
  • I had an international student status valid until December 2022; I became a PR in March 2022. Would the student status expiry date be the day before I got my PR?
2. Work/School Date

The format is month/year. Should I write it:
  • one activity, let's say, September 2019-August 2020, AND another activity, September 2020-June 2021, OR
  • Sep 2019 - Sep 2020 AND Sep 2020-Jun 2021
Or both options are ok?

3. Police Certificate

I have a police certificate from my home country from 2023. I haven't been there since 2020. It says in the application,

The police certificate must be issued
  • after the last time you were in that country or territory, or
  • no more than 6 months before the date you sign your citizenship application
Just to be EXTRA sure, I can submit my certificate from 2023, right?

Thank you!

Temporary resident status expires on the day you departed. (If you had re-entered on the same record or permit before expiry, it would have been alright to enter the full duration but then also enter the absence.)

Your study permit became invalid the moment you became a permanent resident. For time calculation purposes, it is indeed the day before that needs to be entered.
2. Work/School Date

The format is month/year. Should I write it:
  • one activity, let's say, September 2019-August 2020, AND another activity, September 2020-June 2021, OR

Depends when your activity ended, was it in August or September? The online application will tell you if there is anything wrong. If it thinks there is a gap, you enter another period with whatever you were doing in the between those two activities.
3. Police Certificate

I have a police certificate from my home country from 2023. I haven't been there since 2020. It says in the application,

The police certificate must be issued
  • after the last time you were in that country or territory, or

Yes. But if you became a permanent resident in 2023, you don't even need to submit it.
