I was in a common law relationship for 2.5yrs. We got the application and fill it out. He said he sent it in or So I thought.
I got pregnant in 2018 and went into preterm labour in 2019 and give birth to twins, they are doing awesome. During my pregnancy, he got extremely obsessive and abusive which result to the preterm labour. After the birth of my twins, I want nothing to do with him, I did not care about being sponsor. He never submitted the application and because I refused to be with him he got very upset and try to break down my apartment door. After all this I told my social worker who then helped me get into a shelter. Two week later my sister received a letter for me and it was to go to Immigration. O went with my twins and a intervener. The office was nice but he had to give me an removal order and asked if I wanted to do the PRRA that it could by time while I look for a lawyer. He was so nice to the point he told me about TRP for domestic violence. I got conditions for x2 a month

I got a lawyer and submitted the PRRA by December 2019, then she submitted the TRP then the H&CG with all the evidence in February 2020. On feb 24th I got my TRP and work permit. Before all this on February 3rd I went to the police and make a report because my ex was threatening to kill me and my twins. He even track my phone and find me at a local supermarket, the reason why my location is always off now.

Today, I received a call from a CBSA agent saying the interview we had today is canceled because of the COVID-19 but I didnt know nor my lawyer. But when I check my mail box I saw the letter and it said a decision has been rendered for your application regarding the PRRA and pernament residence within Canada on H&CG

I would just like opinions, thanks

That seems extremely fast. H&C applications typically take 2-3 years. I don't think any of us can guess. You'll need to speak with your lawyer - assume your lawyer is the one who will receive the decision.

What was your status before sponsorship potential if you had premature twins in Canada you either had medical insurance or a large bill? Maybe you had coverage through Alberta?

Agree that you need to speak to your lawyer. Are you from a country country that would be considered safe like the US?
