We received your application for permanent residence on June 17, 2011.

We started processing your application on May 17, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

how long will i still need to wait and what thus this mean? pls. help and thank you!

Hi

If you have already sent your passport, then it means that Visa was stamped on your passport.

If you havn't sent your passport, then "Decision made" could mean your Visa was rejected.

Are you checking the E-case with the information of the person being sponsored or using the information of the sponsor ?

Check the E-case with the information of the person being sponsored. If it shows decision made there, then your application was denied.

I am sure you are using E-case on CIC website where you can check the status of your application. Otherwise you couldn't have get the information you wrote in your first post. Are you the sponsor or the applicant? If you and both your spouse are applying inland then it doesn't necessarily mean rejection, if your spouse lives outside Canada then it could be the bad news. Make sure you check the application status using your spouse's information and file number.

Okay.. so after what you have told me, you might want to check with your aunt cuz I am afraid that your case was denied. You might want to ask this question in the Philippines forum to get a better idea.

danny bro he asked the same question last week and i told him got denied because his aunt cant sponsor him

Hi DW, I had that same status going through Port of Spain and i got approved. i did not have to send my passport as I'm from a visa exempt country. This does not necessarily mean you have been denied. Send a case specific enquiry via e-mail to your visa office and inquire as to if they will send you letter in the mail or via e-mail about the decision made and if you have to submit your passport.
Keep your chin up, this could be good news..Others have had this on their ECAS status and they have been sent a passport request letter or e-mail , so don;t despair.

Why are you saying he was denied? The sponsor wouldn't have been approved if the family connection was not enough. Yes it's aunt and nephew but Canadians without dependents or spouses can sponsor one person - ANY family remember. Or something like that. So perhaps he's been approved.

That's no problem DW..and CanadaG is also correct. I would send them a case specific inquiry asking them if they mailed your decision letter or if they're gonna e-mail it. I can't wait to hear your good news.. God's got your back, leave it to him.
