a child born to a canadian father outside canada

Hi everyone. I am canadian and my wife has a PR and we now live in Turkey.We will be moving back to Canada 2 months after she gives birth to our kid. I know my kid will be canadian at birth but ı do not know the requırements for new born baby to have his legal papers enough to fly to Canada just 2 months after he opens his eyes to this world outside Canada. Any ideas about what to do? thanks

After the child is born, apply for proof of Canadian citizenship through the Canadian embassy/consulate in Turkey:

At the same time, apply for your child's temporary passport:

You have to do everything through the Canadian mission in Turkey, so you will have to contact them to get the details and to set up an appointment. My understanding is that at the same time as you apply for the proof of citizenship, the travel document will be issued.
