A BIG CONFUSION about new immigration rules

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for canada PR and i am in the first step of the process. I have sent the courier for the first application on 6th April,2010 which was supposed to be reached on 9th april, 2010. but due to some reason, it was received by immigration people on 12 april, 2010. As on 11th and 12th, there was Saturday and Sunday respectively (Not business working day for the DHL Courier). Will Canada Immigration rules apply on my first application still or will they accept it as it had been posted on 6th april, 2010. Could Anyone please help me what could i do to know about it or else anyone have an answer. Your help will be highly appreciated and thanking you in advance.

Thanks everyone for your reply and concern!!! Actually, I have not sent ielts results with my application, as i thought, it will reach over there before 10th april. I was confused that they might send my application back.
Rules which where going to change: from 10th april on, one has to send Ielts results with first application and thats necessary.
Please help me as i dont know whats going to happen. Thanks a lot once again.

Regarding the new Ielts rule , does CIC ask for original test result or notarized copy ?

I dont know if CIC ask for original test result or notarized copy, i reckon thats only just score CIC wants because rest of all original documents we have to send it later with 2nd application so same for ielts as well.

Applications received from 10th April will have no second chance to prove language ability. If any one choose to submit written submissions to the visa office then officer will decide whether to accept written submission or not.If they are not satisfied with written submissions then will give 0 for language ability with no second chance to give ielts score which was available before 10th April.
