Hi,

I have contacted IRCC via the webform asking them about my VO and received this:

Your application for permanent residence is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

How come? Why is it still there? My medicals are passed and BG has started on 11 August. I ordered GCMS notes and waiting but Any idea what might be going on?

Its because of the ADR first and definitely there is something wrong in your documents due to which its delayed. I would say, wait for the final decision.

OP posted in 2018, so, chances are you might not get a response!

December is the slowest month. I suggest wait till first week of January and then apply for GCMS notes since you'll be over 5 months mark from your AOR. As of now, current trend indicates that IRCC has been sending P1s and P2s since late November. For now, I would advise to just be patient.

On top of that, there's a talk in the industry from lawyers who are claiming the IRCC has slowed down processing as they met their levels plan for 2024.
