8 photos on The Immigrant Guide's Checklist: stamps?

Does anybody know if the small photos required of your spouse as per The Immigrants Guide checklist IMM 3901 need some kind of identification stamp on them?

Passport photos require something like that, with a date and endorsement signature on the back. These photos are similar, but nowhere have I read that they need a stamp like that.

Can anybody comment on this? Thanks!

We submitted pictures without stamps on them, its not on the photo specification appendix that you are to bring to the photographer. We asked our lawyer as well who advised it would be fine. I understand your concern, how are they to know when the pic was taken without the stamp, but seems this is not a requirement.

Remember you will need an additional 4 pictures for medical as well, so 12 in total :)

Thanks for the tip; I was going by the wrong checklist in the first case, I only thought I needed two...big mistake. My spouse already has her medical completed, so we won't need the extras. Those pictures are already on their way, so I have 12 now just in case. I thought they took the four pics out of the 8 total for the medical...

Yet again, no wonder why people have such a hard time with all this, it's actually a shame as far as I'm concerned. I wish I had come to this forum FIRST...that's the best advice I'd give anybody in the future, because you know that in another six months, they'll have different/new forms, procedures. Thanks for the clarification!

I just called CIC and they said that photographers know that all immigration related photos must be date stamped on the back.

Yeah I needed at least one stamped for the medical results and at least one stamped of the bunch that was sent to CIC.
