8-Months under process. Seniors, plz advise me. i'l need your help.

I applied for the canadian student visa on 12th nov,2012.. I received a letter from the CHC on 16th jan,2013 concerning the authenticity of my educational documents.I was given 30 days time to make any representations regarding that information. I submitted to the CHC with a letter from the university confirming my education in the university along with the attested transcripts on 6th feb,2013. It has been 6 months my application is still under process with the CHC. i placed multiple e-mails,fax ,calls. I also visited the CHC in New Delhi on 10th june,where i was advised that my application is opened on the same day,and i'l receive the result soon. Now, its around 20 working days after my visit still there's a No Show from the CHC.
To be honest i did not submit anything fraudulent. My visit visa on july,2012 was refused i suppose that made any diff.. but still i'm annoyed with the time frame without any helpful information.

Should i still wait for the response from the CHC? or Should i withdraw my application and reapply with a SOP detailing my case.??

Should i still hope that they would issue a VISA? or should i move on??

Friends, plz share your advise. I'm really in need of one. I look forward for your help... Thank you.

It's too late!
Better go to CHC and enquire the matter!
8 months... you could have contacted them early!

As you were told that your application is being processed. That means you still have a chance for visa. So wait a little more. Hope it brings good fruit to your patience.
