8 months PGC. PGWP Length?

I've been accepted in the School of continuing studies at York University for 8 months PGC in accounting from 5th May 2022 to 14th Dec 2022. Could you please tell me the duration of the work permit that I'll receive after completing this program? A friend told me I'll get 8 months PGWP since this program is without breaks.

Need your expertise on PGWP. I already created a forum yesterday(https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/continuing-studies-non-credit-course-pgwp-and-work-off-campus.754617/). Did not receive any reply on that. It would be really helpful if you can take a look and share your expertise on this so that i can proceed further to apply for study in Canada.
