hi all
the application we sent for my sister in law is now 8 days over, the most its ever been over is by 3 or 4 days always with a refusal...so is this good or bad? thoughts? I am kind of nervous as this is now way over, usual time frame is 10 days and now its been 18 days .... and i really dont want to contact ircc...just waiting patiently but I wonder when it takes this long is it usually because its an approval???? thoughts welcome

It happens.

The published processing times are only estimates for 80% of cases.

So your sister-in-law's case fell into the 20% that needs additional processing for whatever reason.

No way to tell if it's a good or bad thing until she gets the result.

Thanks for the reply.. i was conparing it qs well with the other 5 times I have applied... each time it was either before or 2 days over the listed processing tine.. this time for whatever reason its way over so that's why I thought it was odd... i dont see why they would prolong if they want to refuse it again.. i figure if they were to refuse they would have done so way before 8 days now..i am sure no logic behind it just wanted to know if anyone had similar instances!
