7 years visa expired renewal tip

Hi,

My canada visa is expiring after 8 years ,
Visa expires on October 10 , do I have to wait till visa expires to reapply or I could start the application now ?
- I only visited canada 3 times during the given visa Period .


Also do I have to give the bio metrics again ?
-I know the biometrics is valid for 10 years , does that mean new visa will be approved only for 2 years ?
Advise me how to do it

yes you can apply again before your other visa expires. Yes you may want to do biometrics again.
