6 month to transfere my file from Buffalo To Damscus???

I am writing this while crying and beeing so devastated...I just knew that my file has took 6 month to be transfered from Baffalo to damascus, 6 longgggggggggg month were taken from our life me and my husband, what to do, has anyone has such a problem, please help, any support or info is very appriciate

my friend has his file transfered from buffalo to damascus in 1 MONTH, he 1st asked buffallo to transfer the file and they refused,then he emailed the then immigration minister and after 3 weeks the ministers office mailed him back and informed him that his file is being transfered to damascus.

i dont understand why it needs 6 months, u should complain,talk to ur MP make a big deal out if it coz this is wrong, as u said its 6 months out of ur life, its really awful how they take our lives for granted as if we can stay on standby for as much as they want.

what the hell is the right word...
we have already asked for CAIP notes one month ago, we are suppose to get them within the coming week or so. they even give me a new B number. we are waiting our CAIP note before connecting with the PM, and my husband is so made of what going on...i am in lebanon since 7 month apart from him.
I was thinking that even if they have sent my file on a camal, the file were to arrive in damscus sooner...
as well we are blaiming our lawyer for not filing our file from the begining in damscus. After I got married, I went with my husband to USA where he lives, my husband is originaly lebanese like me, have the canadian citizenship, and has the USA green card and live in USA. So I went to USA on a tourist visa, Our layer send my file to baffalo in february 25-2008, we got the sponserhip approvale after 2 month, the B number in June 4, in the end of july i had to return lebanon because buffalo sent a letter to the lawyer telling him that i have to return to lebanon and wait my green card here , cause in the end of july my legual status in USA will finish. The file transfered to Damscus, and since then no words, until this week a letter from them saying that they have received my file and give me a new B number.
it is sooo frustrating to think that we have lost 7 month of our life because someone somewhere miss up...
Please can anyone share his opinion about my case

listen there is nothing much anyone here can help, ur husband needs to contact his MP, enno 3anjad in 6 months u would have been able to re-apply thru damascus and not wait, it takes maximum 6 months to process ur file thru damascus!

bass really u should complain and make a big deal out of it this is not acceptable

well we are going to wait the CAIP notes, and based on them, we will see who has made our life living heal, and we will be sure to get our right from him, either our lawyer by not filing from the begining thru damascus, he is in immigration law since 20 years, for sure he has to know that we should file thru damascus from the begining, or either it is buffalo office, someone forget to send the file..( or ... anyway thank you for your reply, and good luck for you too.

oh rorita am so touched by ur case 6 months is a very long period i believe its not right and something must have gone wrong , write to them and seek and explanations there must be a reason for this delay , am moroccan my file was approved in one month and was transfered to morocco in 12 days right from the date of approval i got a letter from visa office here with b number ,

well the plan now is waiting for the CAIP note, witch suppose to come withing 10 to 15 days, and after reading them we will see what really happened, buffalo officer forget to send the file? damascus officer put the file on the shelve?
and what is bothering us the most is that our lawyer keept telling us , wait, wait, don't ruch them, they are of course working on the file in damscus, but they might not send the AOR letter, and all our emails and fax to the damascus office were not replied because it is obvious, THEY DID NOT GET THE FILE YET..we started bothering them since october 2008, but no reply from them...of course now it make since...they simply didn't had my file.
knowing all this has devasted us to the maximum, waiting waiting, apart from each other, someone has to pay for this, and God help us and everyone on this forum to be rejoint with his lovedone.

look it is true that sometimes the damascus doesnt send a AOR, also not replying to ur email doesnt mean they dont have ur file, now if buffalo 4got to send ur file this is one thing and you should make a big deal out of it but IF damascus kept it on a desk and didnt review it, then this is another thing and u really cant do much about it, but obviously there is something wrong and u should get to the bottom of it.
