50 occupations for each occupation 1000 but it is showing 25000 applications

Dear friends,

any one know 50 occupations for each occupation 1000 but it is showing total 25000 applications only.

For below occupations how many applications will accept for PR.

2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
2173 Software engineers and designers
2172 Database analysts and data administrators
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants

please give replies who knows about it.

CIC for FSW 2014 are going to take not more than a total of 25000 Applications . . .

They are also going to take not more than 1000 in each sub category (50 categories)

This means that they WILL NOT TAKE 1000 in all categories -- some categories might reach 1000, others will be less than 1000, but as soon as the grand total reaches 25000 they will STOP.

So there cannot be 1000 in all 50 -- yes there can be 1000 in 25 categories and 0 in others
OR
there can be 500 in all 50 -- or some other combination . ..

Understand ?

There are two caps : 1. A total cap and a 2. Sub cap

I am not applicant. I am spouse of applicant Just knowing the information about the immigration process.

If you have the information just share it to others. Do not criticize any one. You suggested me "you should not attempt it at all." please Don't discourage the people. I know i am eligible or not.
