5 weeks after medical, still nothing from the embassy

I applied for a Canadian student visa by paper and, I was sent an email to to do my medicals, I have done that and it has been 5 weeks since my medical result was sent back to the embassy, and I have still not heard anything back, I am starting really worried. So, I want to ask if this is normal or is there something wrong
