Hello forum member,I am a college teacher (Agriculture STUDIES lecturer) from Bangladesh. It is an
intermediate (HSC) college( 11 & 12 class ).Visa officer wrote to me that my college is equivalent to secondary
school in CANADA. For this reason i am not eligible. But i know about lots of applicants(English Lecturer) who have
got canada visa , though they used to do job at intermediate college. My question is, is there any different
between English Lecturer & Agriculture Studies Lecturer? Please give me suggestions what can i do now?

Hi ,

Very sad to hear about that .

but English Lecturer & Agriculture Studies Lecturer are different ,

English Lecturer ( Language Instructor)
Agriculture Studies Lecturer (Subject Instructor)
Agriculture Studies Lecturer is not an arts, academic, technical and vocational subjects Instructor
as per my opinion that's the reason

They mentioned a agricultural colleges but its not mean you teach Agriculture subject

Yes
11 and 12 grade comes under higher secondary schooling and school teachers were not included in 38 occupation list, 4131 is for company trainers and 4121 for college lecturers.
That must be the reason for refusal.

@rsb2010,

This is something very sad nd worrysome.Action OF vO,at times, is good enough to sweep of the ground underneath our feet.Seemingly, after our application gets into "IN PROCESS" stage , in-depth qualitative check(BACKGROUND CHECK) of the supporting docs starts.Any doc.,which tantamounts to give rise to some doubt or is not found in conformity to the CIC'S set guidelines, even non-decriptive nomenclature, may put us in trouble.
There have been quite a few cases, even reported in the forum by fellow members, which faced such situation but got favourably reviewed sundsequently when effectively represented.
THESE days, anyone can be an easy prey at the hands of the ALL powerful Canadian VO.We can only wish nd pray for each other.
nonetheless,good luck to all.
May God bless all !!!!
