MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (AUGUST 10, 2016)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on August 10, 2016 and ending on August 11, 2016 is 754.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on August 10, 2016 at 11:17:01 UTC, have been assigned a total of 490 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

when is the next draw......every two weeks is it????

I'm at 888. Awaiting my invite. The scores will come down eventually though I can't say how low they will go. Being positive is hard but cic isn't affected when we stress only we are.

I think it will come down, to what level? I think realistically to 460-470...

Gosh, unbelievable high .

I am at 464, updated my score in March and since then this trend of 750 has started. Feels so frustrated, earlier the 464 score was considered so good and use to come in almost every other draw. Now, when i have this score..ITA seems like an unachievable dream.

The video on Youtube where a person claiming to be from Immigration dept, how many of you believe that video..thats my only ray of hope.
